 A piece of History…. in 1917, a time when the only way to access this remote corner of Patagonia was by boat or hydroplane, the visionary pioneer Primo Capraro, captivated by the magnificent scenery, built a small wooden cabin. A great number of friends, visitors and fly fishermen encouraged him to gradually transform the premises which now form this unique Hotel.
This traditional Hotel, situated on the mouth of the Correntoso River where it enters Nahuel Huapi Lake at the foot of the Andes, is a great point from which to explore the charm and serenity of Patagonia.
